Infrared heat may feel significantly more intense than traditional sauna heat because infrared energy warms the body directly rather than heating the surrounding air alone.

Individuals should consult a licensed healthcare professional before using sauna products, particularly if they:
- are pregnant
- have cardiovascular conditions
- experience heat sensitivity
- take medications affecting heat tolerance
Rocky Mountain Saunas does not provide medical advice, and our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

18. Delivery & Freight Policy
Many sauna products ship via freight carrier due to their size and weight.
Customers must inspect shipments upon delivery and note any visible damage before signing delivery paperwork.
Any freight-related damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
Standard delivery generally includes curbside or threshold service only unless otherwise specified.
Rocky Mountain Saunas is not responsible for delays caused by freight carriers, weather events, or circumstances outside our control.
19. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
Rocky Mountain Saunas offers a 30-day in-home trial period beginning on the delivery date.
To qualify for return approval:
- return requests must be submitted within 30 days
- products must remain in good condition
- saunas must be disassembled and repackaged in original packaging, including shipping pallet
- all components and accessories must be included
Return freight charges are the responsibility of the customer. A return shipping fee of $1,500 will be charged, unless otherwise required by law.
Approved return pickups may require approximately 1–4 weeks to schedule depending on freight carrier availability and customer location.
Once an order has entered the shipping process or departed the warehouse, cancellation is no longer available and the order will instead be treated under the applicable return policy.
Refunds are issued after inspection and approval of returned merchandise.
20. Warehouse Hold & Freight Storage Policy
Customers may request their order remain at our warehouse for up to 30 days free of charge before shipment.
After 30 days, storage fees of $100 per month will apply.
Orders left unclaimed for more than 6 months will be canceled and all monies considered forfeited.
Orders cancelled during the hold time frame will be cancelled and refunded less:
- accumulated storage fees
- a $395 restocking charge
- a $200 administrative processing fee
After a shipment arrives at the local freight terminal, customers must coordinate delivery within 2 days of the carrier’s first contact attempt.
Both the freight carrier and Rocky Mountain Saunas will attempt contact twice by phone and/or email. If the customer cannot be reached after all attempts, the shipment may be rerouted and a $1,495 rerouting fee will apply.
Outstanding balances related to rerouting or storage must be paid within 30 days. Failure to do so may result in order cancellation and refund less applicable fees.
If fees exceed the total order amount, the customer remains responsible for the remaining balance owed.
In cases where terminal arrival is delayed by the carrier, the response window begins once the shipment is confirmed available for pickup or scheduling.
Customers are responsible for ensuring all delivery contact information is accurate and current. Rocky Mountain Saunas is not liable for failed deliveries caused by outdated or incorrect contact details.

22. Binding Arbitration Agreement
By purchasing products from Rocky Mountain Saunas or using our website and services, you agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms of Service, your purchase, product warranty, advertising, representations, communications, or use of our products or services shall be resolved exclusively through final and binding arbitration, rather than through litigation in court, except where prohibited by applicable law.
This arbitration agreement is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act (“FAA”) and shall be interpreted broadly in favor of arbitration.
Arbitration shall be administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its applicable consumer arbitration rules, unless the parties mutually agree to an alternative arbitration provider. The arbitration may be conducted remotely, by written submissions, or in a mutually agreed location in accordance with the applicable arbitration rules.
The arbitrator shall have exclusive authority to resolve all disputes relating to the interpretation, enforceability, applicability, or formation of this arbitration provision, including any claim that all or part of this provision is void or unenforceable.
Each party shall bear its own attorneys’ fees, costs, and expenses unless otherwise required by applicable law or awarded by the arbitrator.
Nothing in this provision prevents either party from:
- bringing an individual claim in small claims court where jurisdiction permits
- seeking temporary or preliminary injunctive relief to protect intellectual property rights or confidential information
- pursuing remedies expressly required to remain available under applicable consumer protection laws
Right to Opt Out
Customers may opt out of this arbitration agreement by providing written notice within thirty (30) days of the original purchase date or first use of our services, whichever occurs first.
Opt-out notices must include the customer’s full name, address, order information, and a clear statement indicating the desire to opt out of arbitration and must be sent to:
Rocky Mountain Saunas
5473 Blair Rd Ste 100
Dallas, TX 75231
Email: customerservice@rockymountainsaunas.com
If a customer validly opts out, disputes shall instead be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction as permitted by applicable law.
23. Class Action Waiver
To the fullest extent permitted by law, all claims and disputes against Rocky Mountain Saunas must be brought solely in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff, claimant, or class member in any purported class action, collective action, consolidated proceeding, private attorney general action, or representative lawsuit.
You expressly agree that:
- arbitration or legal proceedings shall occur only on an individual basis
- claims of multiple customers may not be combined or consolidated
- the arbitrator may not preside over any form of representative or class proceeding
- relief awarded may apply only to the individual party seeking relief and only to the extent necessary to resolve that party’s individual claim
If any portion of this Class Action Waiver is found to be unenforceable or unlawful, then only that specific portion shall be severed, and all remaining portions of the arbitration agreement shall remain in full force and effect to the maximum extent permitted by law.
