Rocky Mountain Saunas Limited Warranty

A Commitment to Craftsmanship & Quality

At Rocky Mountain Saunas, we believe true luxury is built on trust, craftsmanship, and standing behind the products we create. Every sauna we design is crafted with care, precision, and a commitment to lasting quality — and this Limited Warranty reflects that promise.

This Limited Warranty is provided to the original purchaser (“Owner”) of a Rocky Mountain sauna product (“Sauna”) and applies to defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use and proper installation during the applicable warranty period.

Should an issue arise, our team will work diligently to provide thoughtful support and practical solutions designed to protect your investment and ensure a positive ownership experience.

This warranty applies exclusively to Rocky Mountain Saunas products and is extended solely to the original purchaser. Proof of purchase may be required for warranty service, and coverage may not be transferred.

1. Warranty Coverage & Product Protection

Indoor Sauna Coverage

Rocky Mountain Sauna's indoor sauna models are covered for a period of ten (10) years from the original purchase date against verified manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship when installed indoors and used under normal residential conditions.

Factory-Installed Components

This coverage extends to factory-installed components including:

  • heaters
  • control systems
  • sensors
  • power supplies
  • related electrical assemblies

If a manufacturing defect is confirmed during the applicable warranty period, Rocky Mountain Saunas will work in good faith to resolve the issue in the most practical and appropriate manner. At our sole discretion, we may:

  • repair the affected component
  • provide replacement parts
  • replace the component with a comparable or updated equivalent

Our goal is always to support our customers fairly and responsibly while ensuring the continued performance and reliability of the sauna.

Accessories & Optional Features

Factory-supplied accessories and optional upgrades — including lighting systems and premium enhancements — are covered for a period of five (5) years from the original purchase date against manufacturing defects under normal residential use.

Tempered glass doors and windows are covered through the delivery process. Customers are encouraged to carefully inspect all glass components upon arrival and note any visible damage at the time of delivery. Once the sauna has been accepted and delivery completed, any breakage, cracking, or damage to glass components becomes the responsibility of the owner.

2. What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This Limited Warranty does not cover:

  • improper installation
  • misuse, abuse, or neglect
  • cosmetic wear not affecting functionality
  • environmental exposure outside intended use
  • unauthorized repairs or modifications
  • commercial or high-use applications
  • transportation damage after delivery
  • natural disasters or acts of nature
  • flooding, leaks, or excessive moisture exposure
  • labor, contractor, service or electrician fees
  • installation or removal costs
  • alternative heating systems or aftermarket upgrades
  • shipping of replacement parts to locations outside of the lower 48 states
  • use of improper chemicals
  • damage caused by rodents

Normal wear to wood cabin and electrical components associated with regular use is not considered a manufacturing defect.

3. Installation & Electrical Requirements

Proper Installation

To maintain warranty coverage:

  • the sauna must be assembled according to Rocky Mountain Saunas instructions
  • all electrical work must comply with local codes
  • required dedicated circuits must be installed by a licensed electrician where applicable

Failure to follow installation instructions may void warranty coverage.

Electrical Supply Requirements

The sauna must be connected to the correct electrical supply specified by Rocky Mountain Saunas.

Damage caused by:

  • improper voltage
  • incorrect wiring
  • unsuitable circuit protection
  • power surges
  • improper electrical configuration

is not covered under warranty.

4. Natural Wood Characteristics

Rocky Mountain Saunas products are crafted from carefully selected premium natural wood materials chosen for their durability, beauty, warmth, and unique character. Because every piece of wood is naturally distinct, no two saunas will look exactly alike — and that individuality is part of what makes each sauna special.

Natural variations in:

  • grain pattern
  • color tone
  • texture
  • knots
  • subtle surface separation caused by normal wood expansion and contraction

are normal characteristics of authentic wood products and are not considered manufacturing defects. These natural features are part of the organic beauty and craftsmanship of real wood.

Over time, changes in temperature and humidity may cause minor expansion, contraction, or settling within wood components. This is a normal response to the sauna environment and does not affect the structural integrity, safety, or intended performance of the sauna.

Minor cosmetic irregularlies that do not affect functionality — including light shipping scuffs, surface rubbing, small scratches, or handling marks that may occur during packaging, transportation, delivery, or installation — are considered normal and are not covered under this warranty.

If you ever have questions or concerns regarding the appearance or condition of your sauna, our team is always happy to assist and help determine whether what you are seeing falls within normal natural wood characteristics or requires further review.

5. Unauthorized Modifications & Non-Approved Components

This Limited Warranty does not cover damage resulting from:

  • unauthorized modifications
  • aftermarket components
  • non-approved replacement parts
  • structural alterations
  • unauthorized electrical work

Any modifications to the sauna’s structure, heaters, controls, wiring, or electrical systems without written authorization from Rocky Mountain Saunas will void warranty coverage.

Evidence of tampering — including altered wiring, removed serial labels, damaged seals, or non-OEM components — may result in denial of warranty claims.

6. Delivery & Shipping Damage

Customers are responsible for inspecting the shipment upon delivery.

If visible shipping damage is identified:

  1. Accept the delivery and Note “Damaged” on the delivery receipt
  2. Photograph the packaging and affected areas
  3. Notify Rocky Mountain Saunas within 48 hours with supporting photos

Shipping damage is handled through the freight carrier claims process and is not considered a manufacturing defect under this warranty.

Minor wear to outer cartons during transit is common and does not necessarily indicate product damage.

Additional charges associated with rescheduling, redelivery, special handling, or shipment modifications remain the customer’s responsibility.

7. Warranty Claims Process

To submit a warranty claim, Owners must contact customerservice@rockymountainsaunas.com and provide:

  • proof of purchase
  • order number if available
  • photographs or video of the issue
  • product serial number when applicable
  • customer contact and shipping information
  • description of the concern

Most customer service and warranty-related concerns can be resolved quickly and efficiently through our Technical Support Department. Because Rocky Mountain Saunas products are designed with modular components, replacement parts can typically be installed easily by the original purchaser with guidance from our support team.

Rocky Mountain Saunas may request troubleshooting steps, photographs, videos, or additional diagnostic information before authorizing warranty remedies or replacement components. Failure to provide requested information may delay or prevent warranty claim approval.

To support our customers throughout the ownership experience, Rocky Mountain Saunas provides replacement parts covered under warranty along with in-depth technical assistance by phone or email for the original owner. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

If tampering, misuse, negligence, unauthorized modifications, or installation errors are suspected, Rocky Mountain Saunas reserves the right to require third-party diagnostic evaluation at the customer’s expense prior to approving warranty coverage.

If an inspection or technical evaluation determines that the issue was caused by improper installation, misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, or user-related error rather than a verified manufacturing defect, any resulting service, labor, diagnostic, or repair costs will be the responsibility of the customer.

Rocky Mountain Saunas reserves the sole right to determine, based on the information provided and any required inspection or troubleshooting, whether a reported issue qualifies as an eligible warranty claim under the terms of this Limited Warranty.

8. Warranty Remedies & Service Support

If a defect in materials or workmanship is confirmed, Rocky Mountain Saunas may:

  • repair the defective component
  • provide replacement parts
  • substitute components of comparable or improved functionality

Replacement components may be new, refurbished, or updated versions depending on availability.

Where original components are no longer available, Rocky Mountain Saunas may provide alternative parts with similar or enhanced performance.

The company’s warranty obligation shall be considered completed upon tender of replacement or repair of the defect component.  The client’s refusal to accept the tender terminates the company’s warranty obligation.

Technical Support

Most service concerns can be resolved through guided troubleshooting and modular replacement components.

Rocky Mountain Saunas will provide reasonable technical assistance to help owners diagnose issues and install replacement parts where appropriate.

For replacement parts that are in stock, shipping normally commences within 72 hours after the warranty claim is approved.

Labor & Service Costs

Owners remain responsible for:

  • installation labor
  • service visits
  • contractor fees
  • electrician fees
  • related repair costs

Warranty Limitations

Warranty remedies are limited strictly to repair or replacement of defective components.  For returns or refunds of non-defective saunas under the 30-day Home Trial please see Rocky Mountain Sauna’s Return and Refund Policy.

Repaired or replaced parts remain covered only for the balance of the original warranty period and do not restart the warranty term.

The total value of warranty remedies shall never exceed the original purchase price of the sauna product.

Once a warranty remedy has been provided for a specific issue, Rocky Mountain Saunas’ obligation for that issue is considered fulfilled.

In select situations, store credit or partial reimbursement may be offered at the company’s sole discretion.

This warranty is intended to provide protection against verified manufacturing defects and is not intended to serve as an ongoing maintenance or replacement program. Routine care, upkeep, and normal wear associated with ownership remain the responsibility of the Owner.

9. Product Evolution & Parts Availability

Rocky Mountain Saunas continuously refines and improves its products over time in an effort to enhance performance, reliability, and overall customer experience. As product designs evolve, certain materials, components, finishes, or specifications may change during or after the applicable warranty period.

If original components become unavailable, Rocky Mountain Saunas reserves the right to provide replacement parts that may differ in appearance, style, or design but offer comparable functionality and performance.

While we make every reasonable effort to support our products for many years, this warranty does not guarantee indefinite availability of replacement components or exact matching materials. If compatible replacement parts are no longer manufactured or reasonably obtainable, Rocky Mountain Saunas’ obligation for that specific component shall be considered fulfilled under the terms of this Limited Warranty.

10. Relocation and Re-installation

Rocky Mountain Saunas products are designed for long-term installation in a fixed location.

Any future disassembly, transportation, relocation, or re-installation is performed entirely at the Owner’s risk.

Rocky Mountain Saunas is not responsible for damage or malfunction resulting from:

  • transportation
  • improper reassembly
  • relocation
  • re-installation

Warranty coverage may be voided for affected components if damage occurs during relocation.

11. Legacy Products

This Limited Warranty applies only to products sold under the current ownership and management of Rocky Mountain Saunas.

Products manufactured or sold under prior ownership structures or earlier generations may receive limited support at the company’s discretion but are not guaranteed warranty coverage.

Proof of purchase and product verification may be required to determine eligibility.

12. Wellness Disclaimer

Rocky Mountain Saunas products are intended solely for relaxation, wellness, and lifestyle purposes.

The company does not provide medical advice or guarantee specific health outcomes associated with sauna use.

Customers should consult a qualified healthcare professional before beginning any heat therapy or wellness program, particularly if pregnant or managing medical conditions.

Statements regarding heat therapy or photobiomodulation are based on publicly available research and have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration.

Rocky Mountain Saunas products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rocky Mountain Saunas shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages, including:

  • loss of use
  • inconvenience
  • lost time
  • commercial loss

Certain jurisdictions may not permit such limitations, so portions of this section may not apply in every location.

14. Implied Warranties & Consumer Rights

Any implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

This Limited Warranty provides the Owner with specific legal rights. Additional rights may vary depending on state, province, or jurisdiction.
